Measure D Facilities Bond
Thanks to the generosity of the community, Measure D was passed by voters in 2012. It is a $260 million local school bond that is helping to provide students in the San Ramon 快播成人 Unified School District with safe, 21st-century learning environments. These capital improvements ensure that students will have access to up-to-date classrooms and campus facilities. Better schools help build stronger communities and support local property values.
Measure D provides locally-controlled funding to:
- Add classrooms to better ensure that students can attend their neighborhood schools
- Update technology infrastructure for 21st-century teaching and learning
- Renovate aging science labs, classrooms and school facilities
- Upgrade fire, security, and earthquake safety systems
- Keep schools well-maintained and in good condition
- Bring all schools up to the same high facility standards
Fiscal accountability provisions are required:
- Every penny supports San Ramon 快播成人 schools
- The State cannot take Measure D funds
- Independent citizens’ oversight is required
- Funds can only be used for construction
- This measure qualifies our schools for state matching funds
